If you were not given a self-sampling kit

The HAUS study is testing how acceptable it is to offer HIV self-sampling kits to Black African people in community settings by specialist outreach workers, and also in GP surgeries by practice nurses. It is not possible for you to take part in the HAUS study if you were not approached by one of our trained study distributors.

Even if you were not approached by one of our distributors, if you would like to talk to someone about HIV, or to have an HIV test yourself, please use the links in the 'Resources' box on this website. The links will help you to contact local support organisations and for those living in some local authority areas in England, you can even order your own HIV self-sampling kit online. There is also a link to help you find your local sexual health clinic where you can meet with a health advisor to discuss your sexual health needs, including testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
